F11 Description

F11 is a chromium-molybdenum (Cr-Mo) low-alloy heat-resistant steel specified in ASTM A182, commonly used in forged or rolled components such as flanges, valves, and fittings. It contains approximately 1.25% Cr and 0.5% Mo, and is available in Class 1 and Class 2 grades.

F11 is widely used in high-temperature and high-pressure applications, including oil refining, power generation, and chemical processing, where long-term service stability is required at temperatures up to 600°C (1112°F).
